About the Role
Role Overview:
Facilitators lead one of the official community clubs (Book, Writing, Wellness, or Community Service) by holding space, encouraging dialogue, and keeping members engaged around a shared interest. You’ll host one virtual meetup per month and maintain activity through check-ins, prompts, or updates in your group space. This is not a high-pressure role — your presence, consistency, and creativity matter most.
What You’ll Do:
Host a monthly virtual meetup centered around your club’s theme
Share light weekly content (prompts, questions, or reflections)
Foster respectful, supportive discussions
Encourage members to connect and participate
Collaborate with Le and fellow volunteers to support the club’s rhythm and direction
Requirements
Availability of approximately 2 hours per week, including one monthly virtual meetup and weekly club engagement (check-ins, prompts, or updates).
Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to guide conversations and hold space for diverse perspectives.
Comfortable using basic virtual tools, such as Zoom or similar platforms for hosting discussions.
Reliable and consistent presence, able to follow through on commitments and communicate in advance if unavailable.
Passion for the club theme — no formal expertise needed, just genuine interest and care.
Openness to collaboration, working with Le and other volunteers to maintain the tone and goals of the community.
